RISE Nexus Alberta is a workforce integration program designed to connect individuals to structured pathways into the Canadian workforce.
Operating within Hinotori’s broader social enterprise ecosystem, RISE Nexus supports newcomers, international graduates, temporary foreign workers, and underemployed talent through guided preparation, workforce readiness, and coordinated access to opportunity.
Rather than functioning as a recruitment service or standalone business, RISE Nexus is built as a bridging layer—aligning training, employer needs, and system-level support into one connected model. It focuses on preparing individuals before entry into the workforce, while supporting employers with access to candidates who are more equipped, aligned, and ready to contribute.
Delivered in coordination with PREP Institute and supported by Hinotori Consulting Solutions, RISE Nexus acts as a platform for workforce activation—where preparation, access, and opportunity are intentionally structured into a scalable pipeline.
Talent exists. Opportunity exists. The system in-between is what’s not clear.
Across Alberta, many skilled individuals remain underemployed or disconnected From the workforce, not because they lack the ability or skill in the position, but because they are navigating fragmented systems, unclear pathways, documentation barriers and licensing gaps. On top of all of this, they are challenged on how to access the employer.
At the same time, employers are facing hiring in pressure, retention issues and workforce instability.
RISE Nexus exists to close that gap
RISE nexus is a structured workforce integration model that supports individuals and employers at the same time.
For participants, it creates a pathway into employment through readiness support, pathway mapping, practical preparation, and connection to opportunity.
For Employers, it creates a stronger workforce pipeline by helping align talent with real hiring needs, on-boarding realities, and workforce expectations

We start by understanding the invidual’s background, goals, readiness, barriers, and potential pathway.
Through structured preparation and ecosystem support, participants strengthen the pieces that matter most for entry into work: documentation, communication, confidence, expectation, employability and readiness (education).
Participants are guided toward realistic employment or career goals basked on their skill level, sector demand, barriers and next-step potential.
Where applicable, employers and partners are engaged throgh aligned entroductions, workforce conversations, and practical hiring pathways.
The goal is not a one-time touchpoint. The goal is stronger workfoce integration, clearer progression, and more sustainable outcomes.
